    Some Helpful Guidelines

  • Please type your application

  • Display your full name and contact details on the first page

  • Ensure that you address all the points listed in the Person Specification (i.e. Personal Faith, Qualifications, Experience, Personal Skills and Abilities, Knowledge)

  • Make the most of your 5 pages. Tell the panel as much as you can about your skills and abilities, experience, knowledge, and your vision for the role

  • Choose your referees carefully. It will be to your advantage if their contact with you has been in an area related to this position (e.g. working with children, working in schools)

  • Do not assume that if you tell us you have been involved in certain activities, that the panel will be able to determine your level of experience, knowledge or ability. Your application needs to demonstrate your level of experience, knowledge or ability (use examples as necessary, and how your skills are transferrable into this role).
