Wellbeing Classroom Facilitator – Swallowcliffe P-7 School
SMG Community Services in partnership with Northern Communities of Hope (NCOH), Elizabeth Church of Christ, and CareWorks SA are excited to call for applications for this position based at Swallowcliffe P-7 School in Davoren Park, providing strategic coaching and facilitation support.
This is a part time position, offering 0.2FTE or 7.6 hours per week, contracted until 31 December 2017, with a possible extension, subject to funding.
The purpose of the Wellbeing Classroom Facilitator is to facilitate the implementation of The Wellbeing Classroom model within the school site, working in partnership with school leadership and educators. The position will have a presence throughout the school, and provide coaching, mentoring and strategic implementation support.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
To develop and source social and emotional learning tools through The Wellbeing Classroom, providing implementation support to schools, with the direct involvement of parents and the wider community
To promote parents as the primary educator of their child, and to develop fruitful partnerships between school, home, and the wider community
To see the wider community, including the local church, proactively involved in schools to enhance the wellbeing of children and young people
To support the ongoing development of SMG Community Services
