The Wellbeing Classroom
THE WELLBEING CLASSROOM is a framework to drive student attendance and engagement in learning. The formation of the framework is a partnership between Schools Ministry Group, University of South Australia & Salisbury Communities For Children. The framework has been designed and evaluated in South Australia.
The framework Incorporates the latest understanding of trauma responsive practices and the use of Kimochis®. Outcomes have been to increase student engagement, attendance and reduce bullying and unproductive behaviours.
Meet the Team
James Lenigas - TWC Director
James is the General Manager of Wellbeing and Education with Schools Ministry Group, has a Masters in Teaching, is certified with Kimochis® USA and delivers training from his experience supporting children, young people, educators and parents.
For 12 years James has advanced the wellbeing of primary schools across South Australia. He leads the Wellbeing Classroom Framework and is proud to champion this exciting collaboration between Schools Ministry Group (SMG), University of South Australia and Communities for Children.
James is passionate about the development of good communities of wellbeing in which families are engaged with the life of their school.

Jem Holmes - Trainer
Jemimah combines her experience delivering social & emotional learning programs in primary schools with expertise in youth work to create classrooms of positive wellbeing and vibrant learners. Jemimah is engaging and entertaining as a presenter. She combines personal stories of the classroom with current research to create a world class adult learning environment.
